Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: July 11, 2026
The short version
Some links on JuniorWealth are affiliate links. If you click one and open an account or make a purchase, we may earn a commission. It never costs you anything extra, and it never changes our ratings or recommendations.
How to spot our affiliate links
Every affiliate link on this site routes through a redirect that starts with /go/ — for example, juniorwealth.com/go/greenlight. If a link starts with /go/, assume we may be compensated when you use it. These links also carry rel="sponsored nofollow" attributes so search engines and browsers can identify them too.
On top of that, any article containing affiliate links displays a disclosure box at the top of the page — before any recommendation — in line with the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255), which require clear and conspicuous disclosure of material connections.
Who we may be compensated by
We participate (or are applying to participate) in affiliate programs for products we cover, including kids' banking and investing apps such as Greenlight, Acorns Early, Step, and BusyKid, via networks like Impact and FlexOffers. The list changes over time; the /go/ prefix is always the reliable indicator.
What compensation does not buy
- It does not buy a better rating, ranking, or review
- It does not decide which products we cover — reader questions do
- It does not silence criticism; our reviews list cons prominently
- Some products we recommend (for example, Fidelity Youth) pay us nothing at all — we include them when they are the best fit for readers
Editorial independence
Our recommendations are governed by our editorial policy: facts verified against primary sources, dated verification, and a public correction process. Affiliate partners never review or approve our content before publication.
